Vitamin C Lowers Blood Pressure, Improves Vascular Function to Lower Heart Attack and Stroke Risk

Researchers from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine have published a study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition showing the importance of supplemental vitamin C to lower blood pressure.   The research suggests a modest blood pressure lowering effect with vitamin C supplementation, and  vitamin C taken at higher lowers blood pressure enough to lower risk of a heart attack or stroke.  Read more.
