Arthritis is a common problem in the United States, with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reporting more than 52 million adults and nearly 300,000 children living with some form of the disease. In fact, it is the number one cause of disability in the U.S., limiting work ability for approximately one-third of adults who have it.
