Some US farmers, like the one featured in the article below, want to grow non-GMO crops because of the outrageously high cost of GM seeds and to supply the burgeoning non-GMO market. But the tragedy is that some farmers are being forced to grow Monsanto’s dicamba-tolerant crops as a defence mechanism, because off-target dicamba movement from fields growing GM dicamba-tolerant soybeans and cotton is killing neighbouring non-dicamba-tolerant crops.
