Three scientific organisations – the Association for Responsible Research and Innovation in Genome Editing (ARRIGE), the Genome Writers Guild, and the Japanese Society for Genome Editing (JSGE), have launched a common statement agreed by the three associations, which are respectively based in Europe, the USA, and Japan, regarding the use of gene editing techniques in human embryos leading to live births.
