A series of new studies have found that daily use of heartburn drugs increases the risk of infection with an intestinal bacteria and increases the risk of fractures in postmenopausal women. Those with mild heartburn should consider foregoing the drugs in favor of symptom-relieving lifestyle changes. Read full article.
