ILLINOIS ACTION ALERT–Nutrition Bill Passes in Senate, Action Now Needed in House!

The nutrition community bill passed the Senate unanimously, 51 to 0. This is a very big step. Thank you for your work. We now have one more, urgent step: we need to pass the bill through the Illinois House of Representatives.
By Monday, December 3rd, we need to make big noise in the House, where the dietitian association is working hard to thwart our bill. To recap, current IL law is a near-monopoly for dietitians, but our bill, SB 2936, would open up access to nutrition practitioners. The final vote is expected to be on Wed December 5 in the Illinois House.
We urge you by Monday, December 3rd, to CLICK HERE and send a letter to your state representative.
