Do you love the taste of tangerines and navel oranges? Just be careful – those beautifully colored oranges and tangerines may not really be all that healthy for us. According to the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), every year, food manufacturers pour 15 million pounds of artificial food coloringinto the United States food supply. And, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), they claim that if any dyes are used, they need to be labeled. So, why don’t Florida oranges have a warning label about food dye substances?
