In the Emmy Award-winning new series The Handmaid’s Tale, a chilling new picture of a dystopian society emerges. Environmental contaminants are causing decreased sperm production among men, couples having difficulty conceiving and children being born with numerous health concerns. When I first read Margaret Atwood’s book The Handmaid’s Tale in the 80’s, I thought it was a science fiction novel. Never did I imagine that it was a plausible vision of the future. Read more.

The Benefits of Listening to Classical Music
Posted November 30, 2017
Music is often referred to as the only true “universal language”; a statement backed by both historical accounts and modern social observations. In a practical sense, music notation is an internationally understood symbolic code, which can communicate the same message to any reader on the planet without linguistic interpretation. Read more.
The Harvard Doctor Changing Nursing Homes Forever
Posted November 30, 2017
Dr. Bill Thomas, a Harvard trained physician, wants you to know one very important thing about life and aging: “growing older is a good thing.” Thomas believes that Americans have bought so willingly into the idea of aging as something to be feared that it has become a self-fulfilling prophecy leading to isolation, loneliness and lack of autonomy,” the article stated. In 1991, Thomas became the medical director of a nursing home in upstate New York. He found the place, as the Post put it, “depressing, a repository for old people whose minds and bodies seemed dull and dispirited.” Read more.

Merck Admits Shingles Vaccine Can Cause Eye Damage — and Shingles
Posted November 30, 2017
Two important FDA approved changes to the warning label of Merck Pharmaceutical’s shingles vaccine, Zostavax, have been made since the controversial drug was introduced in 2006. The first was in August 2014, when, in addition to potentially causing chickenpox, another side effect was added: shingles! That’s right. The vaccine that had been – and continues to be — aggressively marketed to prevent seniors from contracting this excruciating condition was found to actually cause shingles in some individuals. The Hidden Mineral Deficiency That Induces Hypertension
Posted November 30, 2017
Regardless of treatment blood pressure still remains out of control for many Americans whether on drug therapy or not. A concealed cause of hypertension is a shortage of an essential mineral, kept hidden from view while more and more mineral-depleting drugs are employed to ensure hypertension is never cured. Zinc is the unexpected mineral that controls blood pressure as described in the medical literature but not heeded by practicing physicians. Read more.
Smoking Gun: High Levels of Aluminum in Autistic Brains Triggers Autism
Posted November 30, 2017
A new study from Professor Chris Exley of Keele University in England links autism to aluminum in the brains of autistic children. The study found that the lowest dosage of aluminum, at 200 mcg, actually delivered more aluminum to the brain than a higher dosage. The reason for this has not been studied but may be because the body attempts to isolate aluminum before it gets to the brain, and this protective action mat respond more quickly at higher dosages. Study: Can Toxic Aluminum Be Removed from the Body by Drinking Water Containing Silicon?
Posted November 30, 2017
First of all, there is widespread agreement that aluminum is a neurotoxin. Whether it enters the body through vaccination, environmental pollution, geoengineering, or any other route, it can pass through the blood-brain barrier and wreak havoc. The study I’m quoting is, “Silicon-rich mineral water as a non-invasive test of the ‘aluminum hypothesis’ in Alzheimer’s disease.” (The citation is J Alzheimers Dis. 2013;33(2):423-30. doi: 10.3233/JAD-2012-121231.
