The FDA has dialed back a restrictive policy that would severely limit access to individualized natural medicines—but it’s not good enough. Action Alert! The FDA has released a revised draft policy relating to customized, natural medicines made at compounding pharmacies. This revised policy demonstrates that the FDA has listened to ANH members and other stakeholders, but the changes are not enough to guarantee that patients will be able to get the medicines they need. We must continue to hold the agency’s feet to the fire. Read more.

Glyphosate Residue Free Inquiries Surge as ‘Clean Food’ Movement Gathers Pace
Posted September 28, 2018
The Detox Project – which certifies products as ‘Glyphosate Residue Free’ – has been overwhelmed by industry inquiries over the past six months as food brands seek not just to get certified, but more often, to “use us as a consultancy service” to find out how the herbicide got into their products and what, if anything, they can or should do about it, says founder Henry Rowlands. Think You’re Buying USA-Raised Meat? Think Again.
Posted September 28, 2018
Where is the meat you’re buying really from? Action Alert! Many of us look for the “Product of USA” sticker on the meat we buy in the supermarket, but we may not be aware that the USDA allows meat raised outside the US to carry that label. It’s a shameful case of government-sanctioned fraud. Current USDA policy allows foreign meat to be imported to the US and carry the “Product of USA” label if it passes through a USDA-inspected plant. I saw Florence Sending Millions of Animal Poop Flooding Across North Carolina
Posted September 28, 2018
Though corporate farmers call them “lagoons,” I hesitate to use that word. Really, they’re cesspools: unlined open-air pits, often containing millions of gallons of hog feces and urine. North Carolina is home to the second-largest number of hogs in the country, and it hosts some 3,000 of these cesspools, their liquid colored a vivid pink. Posted September 28, 2018
Sushi has had great reputation for being a healthy, low fat, natural food, usually filled with some type of fish, vegetables, and rice, wrapped in a healthy seaweed wrap. Sounds fabulous, right? Well, sushi can either be really healthy, or a chemistry nightmare with a lot of fattening, processed and artificial ingredients. It all depends on what—and where–you are ordering. Read more.
Acid Bodies, Acid Cancer
Posted September 28, 2018
Cancer cells routinely form in most people’s bodies in areas of low voltage, low oxygen and acidic pH. Bottom line: the more that acid conditions prevail the more aggressive the cancer. Hypoxia and extracellular acidity are deeply associated with the cellular microenvironment and the spread of cancer. Read more.
Your Employer CANNOT Force Vaccinations or a Mask
Posted September 28, 2018
Attention Healthcare Workers! Your employer is guilty of discrimination when they force you to vaccinate against your religious and/or moral conscience. They are guilty of discrimination when they force you to wear a mask. While the federal government doesn’t have the authority to override the state’s vaccine mandates, it can enforce the right to freedom of religion or moral conscience for those individuals who are against vaccines. The First Step to Your Cortisol Reset: Get Tested
Posted September 28, 2018
Here is one of the top questions I receive: “Dr. Sara, how should I test my cortisol? I think I may have adrenal fatigue (or adrenal burnout, or more accurately, adrenal dysregulation). There’s so many options. What’s the best?” Read more.
