Certain Dental Flosses Raise Body Levels of Toxic Chemicals
Posted January 24, 2019
Flossing teeth could increase the body’s levels of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) — widely used chemicals linked to a number of diseases and certain cancers — warn US researchers. Changing daily behaviors could reduce exposure, they say. PFASs have the unique ability to resist both water and lipids and are used in a wide range of consumer products, such as food packaging, nonstick cookware, carpets, furniture, and waterproof clothing. About “Objections” to Vitamin C Therapy
Posted January 23, 2019
In massive doses, vitamin C (ascorbic acid) stops a cold within hours, stops influenza in a day or two, and stops viral pneumonia (pain, fever, cough) in two or three days. (1) It is a highly effective antihistamine, antiviral and antitoxin. It reduces inflammation and lowers fever. Administered intravenously, ascorbate kills cancer cells without harming healthy tissue. Many people therefore wonder, in the face of statements like these, why the medical professions have not embraced vitamin C therapy with open and grateful arms. Read more.
Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C: What’s the Real Story?
Posted January 23, 2019
Heard anything bad lately about ascorbic acid vitamin C? If you haven’t, you may have been away visiting Neptune for too long. 12 Reasons Why Even Low Levels of Glyphosate are Unsafe
Posted January 23, 2019
Proponents of GMOs and Glyphosate-based herbicides and staunch believers in the EPA have long argued that low levels of glyphosate exposure are safe for humans. Even our own EPA tells us that Americans can consume 17 times more glyphosate in our drinking water than European residents. The EWG asserts that 160 ppb of glyphosate found in breakfast cereal is safe for a child to consume due to their own safety assessments, and yet renowned scientists and health advocates have long stated that no level is safe. Confusion amongst consumers and the media is rampant. Read more.

NACCHO? It sounds like a bad acronym from an Austin Powers movie. What/who the heck is NACCHO? NACCHO is The National Association of County and City Health Officials. If you briefly perused their website, you might be confused into thinking that they were a federal agency of sorts. First off, there’s the name. The Dangers of Formaldehyde Exposure Linked to Dementia, Diabetes and Depression
Posted January 23, 2019
The major exposure route of formaldehyde is inhalation from indoor sources – not surprising, when you consider that formaldehyde is a common constituent of carpeting, paper products, plywood, cleaning products, glues, insecticides, cigarette smoke and even wrinkle-resistant fabrics. Researchers are now finding that exposure to formaldehyde causes a harmful cross-linking of the body’s proteins – the same process that occurs in the presence of high blood sugar. Read more.

Hoping to earn its share of the $3.5 trillion health care market, the medical industry is pouring more money than ever into advertising its products — from high-priced prescriptions to do-it-yourself genetic tests and unapproved stem cell treatments.
