For more than 20 years, Dr. Harri Hemilä, biochemist, physician and epidemiologist, has been analyzing research conducted with vitamin C. In 2017, ORTHO magazine had an interview with him. [1] At that time, the interest in vitamin C was mainly about the common cold. Now it also concerns another virus infection, Covid-19. Has anything changed since then? The near-total lack of interest within medical science for vitamin C still exists. And apparently, medical professors don’t give a damn about the vitamin, as if it were a career killer. Read more.

Glutathione D-Day: June 8
The FDA is once again threatening personalized medicines, this time glutathione, a crucial antioxidant. Action Alert! Your ability to use personalized glutathione, an antioxidant that is essential to life, is in jeopardy. An FDA committee that has already voted to ban many natural medicines is meeting soon (June 8th) to decide whether compounding pharmacies can continue to make glutathione in any form, including IVs, inhaled forms, suppositories, and nasal sprays. Glutathione helps patients with a wide variety of ailments, including liver disease, cancer, stroke, and autism. Read more.

FDA Severely Limits Use of J&J Covid Shot
Use of Johnson and Johnson’s (J&J) COVID-19 vaccine should only be limited to certain adults, the FDA said on Thursday. Due to an updated analysis of the rare cases of thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS), which typically occur 1 to 2 weeks after vaccination, use of the J&J vaccine should be restricted to those for whom mRNA vaccines are “not accessible or clinically appropriate,” or who would not get vaccinated if not for the J&J vaccine, the agency said. “Re-Education Camps” for Doctors?
Efforts are increasing to silence doctors who stray too far from the dictates of conventional medicine. Action Alerts! “More than 2 years into this pandemic, the largest threat next to the spread of the virus itself is the spread of disinformation and misinformation.” These words were spoken by the CEO of the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), Humayun Chaudhry, DO. The statement is emblematic of the wave of censorship that has been building since the beginning of the pandemic. It is also in line with other attempts at the federal level to gag free speech about natural treatments for COVID prevention and treatment. Read more.
Durbin: Don’t Take Our Sunshine Away!
The “sunny” days of Americans being able to regenerate health with vitamin D, the sunshine vitamin, could be over. Action Alert! Last week, we detailed what we believe to be Sen. Durbin’s end game with regard to his new mandatory product listing bill for dietary supplements: the imposition of European-style restrictions on high-dose vitamins and minerals. For those who care about natural health, one of the most important threats is to high-dose vitamin D. Read more.
Study Reveals 126 Species of Fish Contaminated with “Cocktail of Pharmaceuticals”
While Americans have much to be concerned about in regard to Genetically Engineered (GE) Salmon (aka “Frankenfish”) (see 1, 2), it was also reported in 2020 that America’s water supply included unhealthy levels of chemicals, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals that were significantly affecting fish. A more recent study confirms the same. Read more.
The Restoration of Vitamin C Synthesis in Humans
The full importance of vitamin C in reaching and maintaining optimal health remains largely unappreciated by most traditional health care practitioners. Certainly, it is widely appreciated that vitamin C is required to sustain life, and that its severe deficiency in the body reliably results in the development of scurvy, with death following shortly thereafter in the absence of new vitamin C intake. However, it is not widely appreciated that optimal human metabolism requires the assimilation of new multigram (macronutrient) quantities of vitamin C on a daily basis, not just 50 to 100 milligram (micronutrient) quantities. Surprising Health Benefits of Black Raspberries
Black and red raspberries are varieties from the same Rubus family so their nutritional contents, such as calories, proteins, fiber and vitamins, are the same. However, some components of black raspberries are completely different compared to the red variety — they have a 10-fold increase in anthocyanins, nearly double the amount of ellagic acid and three times the antioxidant power, measured by their oxygen radical absorption capacity (ORAC) — their ability to absorb free radicals.
